Did you know Savage was in the final round as the contender against Colt — more than 100 years ago — to make a government-issued handgun? Their Model 1907 striker-fired pistol was produced commercially in .380 and touted as a pocket gun everyone could carry.
We haven’t seen many handguns from Savage lately, but they have now dived back onto the market with a full set of Stance 9mm pistols. It’s got a lot of the features shooters love in other popular micros, but it also brings some features we wish others had — including an attractive price point.
